SUPERMARKT was founded in 2010 by Ela Kagel, David Farine and Zsolt Szentirmai. From 2010, the platform for digital culture and collaborative economies found its first home in Berlin-Wedding. In September 2015, SUPERMARKT moved to Mehringplatz in Kreuzberg, where it offered a continuous program of conferences, workshops and community meetings on the topics of technology & culture until 2022. In 2022, SUPERMARKT went through yet another transformation by moving into an office of the Atelier Gardens campus in Berlin. Today, SUPERMARKT is a digital platform and works on selected projects in cooperation with partners, such as GameChanger or the THFx-Denkmalwerkstatt.
